The Center for Civil Society Promotion (CPCD) has officially launched its new web portal, marking an important step forward in how one of the most influential civil society organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina connects with its community and presents its work to the wider public.

Founded in 1996, CPCD (Centar za promociju civilnog društva) has spent nearly three decades strengthening democratic values, promoting civic activism, and supporting the development of a sustainable civil sector across Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider Western Balkans region. As CPCD’s scope of activities and audiences has grown over the years, so has the need for a modern, flexible digital platform that can support both day-to-day operations and long-term community building.

A Portal Designed for Community, Not Just Content 

The primary goal of the new CPCD portal was not simply to refresh the organization’s online presence, but to create a central digital space that actively supports CPCD’s mission. The portal is designed to inform, connect, and engage a broad audience — from civil society organizations and media to institutions, educators, and citizens interested in democratic development.

At the core of the project was the need for easy and reliable content management. CPCD regularly publishes news, announcements, reports, publications, and educational materials, often accompanied by image and video galleries. The new portal allows administrators to publish, update, and organize this content through a centralized dashboard with secure, role-based access.
