The Western Balkans ESG Summit 2023 was held in April 2023 at Porto Montenegro, marking a significant milestone as the first major regional gathering dedicated to sustainable development and the business sector’s responsibility for applying environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards in practice.

With over 450 attendees representing more than 150 companies, governments, and organizations, the Summit became a hub for dialogue on the implications of ESG for “The Business of the Future” in the Western Balkans. The program featured keynote presentations, interactive panel discussions, and workshops covering critical ESG themes such as sustainable finance, green transition, and green innovation.

The event was organized by Sustineri Partners and Porto Montenegro, in partnership with the Government of Montenegro and Bloomberg Adria. It highlighted the importance of forward-thinking technologies, new business models, and practical tools for achieving the best ESG performance, while also providing workshops on emerging regulations and standards.
