After a pause caused by the COVID period, the eleventh Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF) returned to Sarajevo on May 11–12, 2022, reaffirming its status as one of the most important business and investment conferences in Southeast Europe.

The Forum once again brought together influential business and political leaders, connecting institutional and private investors with entrepreneurs and project owners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Albania.

Ensuring smooth and effective organization, this year’s Forum was powered by the GatherUp! Event Management Platform, which streamlined key processes such as participant registration, content management, ticket sales, sponsor coordination, investmens projectst and communication.

The 2022 edition highlighted investment opportunities across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, wood and furniture, metal processing, agriculture, energy, education, finance, infrastructure, construction, IT, services, and tourism.

The main theme of the Forum, “Nearshoring – Perspectives for the Region,” focused on the potential for European companies to relocate production facilities to the Western Balkans, with Bosnia and Herzegovina positioned as a key destination.
