Ever wondered how many public institutions exist in Bosnia and Herzegovina, how big their budgets are, or how much key officials earn?

Until now, getting this information in one place was nearly impossible. The absence of an official register meant citizens had to search multiple sources, often without finding the full picture.

To address this gap, Transparency International BiH teamed up once again with App Impact to develop the Database of Public Institutions — a centralized, user-friendly platform that brings all this data together.

The database offers detailed information on the number of institutions, their budgets, employee counts, and remuneration details of key personnel. It’s designed to give citizens, researchers, and the media a clear, comprehensive view of how public institutions operate, making it easier to hold them accountable.

By creating this platform, Transparency International BiH adds another powerful tool to its ongoing efforts to promote transparency and good governance. The goal is to empower citizens with the information they need to engage in informed discussions and demand greater accountability from their public institutions.
